PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Just like your car, a phone system requires the occasional tune-up to ensure reliable operation. Phone system outages are costly with productivity declines and even lost customers. And the risk of an outrage increases exponentially as a system ages. Why take the chance when we can reduce or eliminate the risk?
OUR 14-POINT INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICE CAN ENSURE CONTINUED SYSTEM RELIABILITY AND UPTIME.
SPECIAL OFFER: Sign-up for Preventative Maintenance by 3/31/2023 and recieve 10% off your services!
Many of the products and systems we use today are designed to go through long service intervals without needing periodic maintenance. This is great… until a failure occurs. Preventive maintenance inspections can bridge the gap between doing nothing and doing more than needs to be done. This applies especially to your phone system as a mission-critical component of your business.
To keep your business telephone system in good working order, it's important to have a factory certified technician perform an annual preventive maintenance service. Preventive maintenance keeps your telephone system in good working order, prevents costly system outages, keeps your telecommunications costs to a minimum, and extends the life of your communication system.
Did you know? If you have a current Clarktel support agree, Preventative Maintenance (PM) is included within your agreement. Furthermore, If your system was installed in 2022, you receive complimentary PM during Q1!
Clarktel is a phone system maintenance service provider for most major brands like NEC, Nortel, Mitel, Toshiba, and Avaya phone systems.

e911 LEGISLATION IMPACTING MULTI-LINE PHONE SYSTEMS
If you have a multi-line telephone system with multiple locations or remote workers, this impacts you!
Kari’s Law and RAY BAUM’S Act - 911 Direct Dialing, Notification, and Dispatch-able Location Requirements.
Ray Baum's Act was signed into law on March 23rd, 2018 and was created to ensure faster and more accurate responses to 911 calls. The law is being implemented in two phases:
First phase went into effect January 6, 2021.
Second phase went into effect January 6, 2022.
NEC has a short presentation that outlines compliance responsibilities for all parties. NEC as manufacturer, Clarktel as service provider, and You as administrator of a Multi-Line Telephone System.
Are you compliant with Dispatch-able Location on your phone system? If your answer is "I don't know", go to NEC's summary of Kari's Law & Ray Baums's Act Summary from 911.gov
