Univerge Blue is Becoming Elevate – What You Need to Know
As NEC fully exits the U.S. unified communications market, the NEC-branded Univerge Blue service is transitioning to Elevate.
IMPORTANT FACT: Both services (Blue and Elevate) have always been powered by the same technology infrastructure managed by Intermedia.
This is not a platform migration – your Univerge Blue service already runs on Intermedia’s platform today.
What’s changing is the brandingyou’ll see across your apps and support materials.
What’s not changing is Clarktel as your continued support partner for your cloud-based phone services. You will still get support as you always have; and from the same names you know.
Timeline
Since early 2025, all new accounts have been provisioned under the Elevate name.
Starting in October 2025, Intermedia will begin updating desktop and mobile apps for existing Univerge Blue customers.
By mid-2026, all Univerge Blue-branded apps will be retired.
What to Expect
You may begin seeing the Elevate name and logo on your desktop and mobile apps starting later this year.
Clarktel will provide step-by-step instructions and customer guidance during the transition.
All documentation, support, and onboarding will move under the Elevate brand.
